RTC is providing technical assistance and education in digital rights, communication, privacy, cybersecurity, and advocacy. RTC implements projects in South and Central Asia. RTC partners with 1,410 civil society organizations, women-led organizations and entrepreneurs, media organizations, and civil society networks

Our Projects
Civil Society Support Program
Supported by ICNL, this program aims to strengthen Afghan civil society by providing technical support for safe and successful operations. It covers advocacy, communication, and gathering, reaching 1,918 NGOs and 1,100 HRDs while producing three impactful manuals.
Shield Wise Lab
A Cyber Security Training Platform
Supported by Access Now, the initiative aims to develop a cybersecurity training platform called Afghan Shield Wise Lab. The project targets 1,000 NGOs and 1,000 HRDs to enhance their cybersecurity knowledge and practices. This initiative is the first of its kind in Afghanistan, available in English, Dari, and Pashto.
Helpline
Launched in August 2024 with the support of
our potential donors and volunteers, this cybersecurity helpline offers technical assistance
and education in local languages for emergency situations. It serves target
audiences, including representatives of NGOs, women-led organizations, and
HRDs. As of November 2024, RTC has provided emergency cybersecurity assistance
to 91 applicants in the field.
Digital Literacy and Online Safety for Women
Supported by the National Democratic Institute (NDI), this initiative promotes digital literacy through an awareness campaign aimed at empowering Afghan women and other marginalized groups by enhancing their proficiency and safety with digital tools. The project has reached an audience of 21,000 through social media.
